I guess you could say I was born an artist! My intrinsic artistic abilities appeared around the age of 1½ years old when I began scribbling colorful imagery on my bedroom walls, later carving designs and cryptic messages on my parent’s fine furniture. Over the years, I have continued my artistic endeavors working as a monotype printmaker, painter, mixed media artist, and jewelry maker.

New Acrylics

I really should be doing the
things I need to do...
Spring Garden (C)

New acrylics on paper are being born.

Still working on my figurative series. Many of these began as collaged greeting cards many, many years ago. These are a few of the painted interpretations of them. More to come...

Soulful Waters (C) monotype on clayboard gls (POR)

I love the misty rains of spring. Time for the earth and spirit to come alive again.
It sure was a long winter. I had forgotten how amazing spring really is.

Busy Days

Last night was the opening reception for the All This I am art show opening. You can read more about it here

What a wonderful evening with a wonderful art community! Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in putting this show together!

Soon, June 5 and 6, 2010, I will be doing the sidewalk Art Show.

Unfortunately this will be, after 30 years, the last year I will do this show. I have mixed emotions and have struggled with those emotions. It is time to begin new adventures. I do not know yet what those adventures will be, but it is time to create and go with the flow. Making and sharing the art is what matters...

Please stop by and see me!
