The Landscape

Once again, intrigued by the landscape. I always think of Walt Whitman. Many of my paintings, monotypes, and watercolors begin with the thought of a poem or song.

Ready to Show

Spring break is upon us, yet it is 32 degrees outside today with a light dusting of snow. I am using the day to get ready for the Open Studio Tours in a few weeks. Here are a couple of new creations.

A few inches of rain fell here this weekend. Actually, it down poured! I did get to play a little bit in the studio, but I was more excited about the Spring Symphony of color happening outside! The flowers are coming up, the trees are branching out with green tips, the frogs are peeping, and the birds are visiting the bird houses I put up! Life is happening!

Now, if I could just get some art work done...
