I guess you could say I was born an artist! My intrinsic artistic abilities appeared around the age of 1½ years old when I began scribbling colorful imagery on my bedroom walls, later carving designs and cryptic messages on my parent’s fine furniture. Over the years, I have continued my artistic endeavors working as a monotype printmaker, painter, mixed media artist, and jewelry maker.

Shadows of the Sun

Yes, most of my works are small. Typically, I print on an 8' x 8' substrate or smaller, however, I found these clayboard panels that were 6' x 24'. I am really excited about using them. The first one I printed was 'Across the Day' https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOG8Njy41hTD_0aYoBCO0rHOT_Ll-1xKLrLdSkUkvSxat5FTCi-INRc6c2CswlO0E4VET6fXEpNrM6euG791i6VmPH24RTO87OHbsagxeFlATzC0zh48Olr-yefobL-Q6I12O0gFPs_Bw/s1600-h/across+a+day+mono+6+24.jpg

This image is the second one of this size I have done. Working with oils and very little working time due to using the clayboard, I find the larger attempts a lot more challenging. I find my mind spinning with ideas. WOW.
