Cheryl Dolby did a great job covering the Ope Studio Tours this past weekend! I got to get a feel of what the other artists had going on! I hate I could not go visit myself.

Cheryl, thanks for posting this and I really enjoyed meeting everyone! There were so many new folks that visited this year...it was refreshing!

The Doorway

Here is my last new work for the week. It is called, 'The Doorway'. This piece is another Citra Solv collage. What a fun and interesting way to create unpredictable textures, patterns, and images.

The reason this is the last piece of the week, is because Saturday is Open Studios Tour. This will be our 10th anniversary (my 7th). Please follow the link to check out all the wonderful artists that will be part of this tour. Please come out, check out the art, and visit awhile. It' s free!

All This I Am

I am excited! I just got notification that I had a piece of work accepted into the juried show, “All This I Am” – Honoring Women Through the Arts that will be at the Hayloft Gallery in the Jacksonville Center in Floyd! My watercolor, Emerging Spirit was the piece accepted!
